God the father

We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father created us in his image and revealed himself through Jesus Christ on earth for the redemption of the world.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. He is God the son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and having taken on human nature. Through his sinless life, countless miracles, and life-transforming teachings, he has revealed the father’s love to the world. Christ died on the cross for all sinners, providing salvation to all of humanity. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and that He is the only name by which we must be saved. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return to establish his kingdom of justice and peace.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the holy trinity, as equal to God the father and Jesus Christ, and working in harmony with each other. He is our Helper in all aspects of man’s life, including helping us do the Father’s will, making us more like Christ, sanctifying us, and convicting us of our sins. We believe in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He freely gives to equip the Church to express the fullness of God’s love to the world.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, collected into the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Bible in its entirety. The Bible records God’s story, the relationship between God and man. We believe that the message of the Bible is addressed to all humanity and brings hope to all. We affirm our absolute trust in the Word of God as the norm, standard, and model of the Christian life.

Baptism

We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, and that he establishes the sacraments of baptism by immersion and holy communion for believers.

Service

Mark 10:45 tells us that “Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”. We believe that we too were saved to serve God, to serve others, and to share the Father's message of love.
